Find out your Fitzpatrick Skin Type

Not all skin types respond well to laser hair removal, and different types of skin need different laser systems to get the best results (with the least risk).

The Fitzpatrick scale was introduced to help classify how different types of skin respond to UV light. As the lasers used in hair removal can be absorbed by pigment in the skin, potentially causing damage (especially for those with darker skin) it’s a useful tool to get an idea of how effective laser hair removal may be for your skin type, and which type of laser systems are commonly used.

Take the survey to find out your skin type, but remember to always go to a trained professional for a full consultation if you’re considering laser hair removal.
